Ben Simmons agrees to meet with 76ers specialists

Per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Ben Simmons has agreed to meet with the specialists that the 76ers recommended for him throughout his process of returning to the court. After Simmons’ reluctance to use the provided resources, the 76ers had resumed fining Simmons for the games and meetings he had missed.
In the report, Woj also mentioned that Simmons will continue to meet with the NBAPA provided mental health specialists. The plan is for Simmons to still workout individually at the team facility, but there is still no apparent timetable for a return to play. The Sixers have maintained success without Simmons thus far this season, and will likely not push him back with the current team chemistry.
The trade rumors surrounding Simmons have not slowed up either, with a Shams report coming out today that the Celtics have expressed interest in Simmons. Simmons’ likelihood of playing another game for the Sixers seems very low, but they have fined him into agreeance to their terms.
