Howie Roseman begins search for potential replacement for Jalen Hurts

The likely search for Jalen Hurts’ replacement has already begun. Howie Roseman will be one of five NFL GMs attending tomorrow’s game between North Carolina and Pittsburgh. The only notable players that would lead to a GM’s appearance are quarterbacks Kenny Pickett and Sam Howell.

Howie Roseman will be joining the Broncos, Raiders, Vikings, and Steelers’ general managers, with Pittsburgh likely only attending since the game takes place at their stadium, Heinz Field. Both of these quarterbacks are probably early draft picks but are projected anywhere from the middle of the first-round to the early second.

38 NFL Scouts will be in attendance, with the Eagles having sent a scout for last week’s duel between Malik Willis and Matt Corral. While Jalen Hurts has shown improvement, with how Howie Roseman is, it’s not shocking to see him doing his due diligence.

Philadelphia has been connected to numerous quarterbacks this offseason, including Russell Wilson and Aaron Rodgers. If the Eagles were to draft any QB this offseason, Corral or Willis are the most likely options. Either way, it can’t hurt to see what these two are capable of, but sending a general manager to watch in person is a big sign that changes could be on the horizon.
