NBA TV still hasn’t deleted a tweet saying that the 76ers are playing the Sacramento Kings tonight

Welp. This is just hilarious. This morning, the NBA TV Twitter account fired out this gem of a tweet saying that Thursday night hoops will feature the Sacramento Kings vs the Philadelphia 76ers at 7pm on NBA TV. It’s almost 5PM and the tweet still stands. Check it out below.
Honestly I’m not surprised. The national broadcast against the Bucks was a complete disaster. They were calling Paul Reed, “Patrick Reed” and Shake Milton, “Shake Middleton.” The next morning, it went a step further with the NBA Twitter account continuing to call Paul Reed, Patrick.
I just don’t get how someone isn’t notifying these major accounts and letting them know internally that they screwed up. Do they simply not care? Have they gone so low that any engagement is good engagement? The second I do something wrong here I have a million people texting me saying I screwed up spelling or that something doesn’t make sense. I can’t image that the NBA TV social team hasn’t realized that the tweet is completely wrong.
As we all know, the 76ers are playing the Toronto Raptors at home tonight. Not the Sacramento Kings. The 76ers don’t play Sacramento until the 22nd which makes the graphic even more confusing.
