Soccer Update: Union head coach Jim Curtin would “love” to take his talents to Europe someday

Union head coach Jim Curtin joined CBS Sports on Monday ahead of the 2021 MLS Playoffs. Naturally, the topic regarding Curtin’s future with the Union came up, and Curtin made one thing clear, he’d “love” to coach in Europe someday.
A decision of this caliber would be made after this year’s playoffs, but it shouldn’t surprise anyone that Curtin would like to spend some time in Europe. If anyone deserves a chance at this, Curtin should, given his very successful resume here with the Union. Last season, Curtin won the 2020 MLS Coach of the Year Award with a 14-4-5. It looks like Curtin won’t be leaving the Union anytime soon, but the idea is in the back of his mind. I would love to see Jim Curtin bring home the Union’s first-ever MLS Cup before moving on; hopefully, it happens this postseason.
