Dallas Goedert enters concussion protocol after suffering head injury against Broncos

After leaving Sunday’s game against the Broncos early due to a head injury, tight end Dallas Goedert is now in concussion protocol.
Nick Sirianni told reporters this morning that Goedert would likely miss practice today even though it’s a walkthrough. There is no word just yet for his status for Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints.
With concussion protocol, Dallas Goedert could be back as soon as Friday or two weeks. For comparison, Josh Sweat went into protocol early last week and was cleared ahead of Sunday’s game against the Broncos.
If Goedert does miss this week’s game, Tyree Jackson and Jack Stoll would be the two starting tight ends for the Eagles. Stoll would likely secure the starting spot for Philadelphia, but their offense will take a massive hit without their standout tight end. The remainder of this week’s injuries will be detailed in today’s practice report.
