Alvin Kamara, other key Saints miss practice ahead of Sunday’s game against Eagles

It seems like the New Orleans Saints will be without one of the focal points of their offense this Sunday against the Eagles. Running back Alvin Kamara missed today’s practice due to an MCL sprain, and his availability for this week doesn’t seem likely. Kamara is having a down year and has been riddled with injuries, having missed a game a few weeks ago as well.
After averaging five yards per carry last year, Kamara’s average YPC has fallen to just 3.6 in 2021. The Saints star has only rushed for 100 yards once this season, despite getting 18 carries per game, the most in his career. Without Alvin Kamara and likely Taysom Hill, the Saints’ offense is going to struggle against a weak Eagles defense.
New Orleans has been riddled with injuries for the entire season. Star wideout Michael Thomas is missing the entire season while quarterback Jameis Winston tore his ACL just a few weeks ago. For the rest of the Saints, starting tackles, Terron Armstead and Ryan Ramczyk did not practice as well as Taysom Hill and Ty Montgomery. No Eagles missed today’s practice, with Davion Taylor, Jack Driscoll, and Dallas Goedert limited.
