Flyers host Bruins in final matchup of 3-game home stand

The Flyers will play in their last matchup during the 3-game home stand, going 1-0-1 so far with a win against Calgary and that shootout loss against Tampa on Thursday. Tonight, the 8-5-0 Boston Bruins come into Philadelphia to take on the 8-4-3 Philadelphia Flyers. It’s kinda of strange that Boston is coming into tonight’s game off a 5-day break, hopefully the Flyers can take advantage of a team that might not have their skating legs early.
Martin Jones gets the nod from AV, he was actually the goalie who started in the first matchup on October 20th (6-3 win), against Boston. Jones stopped 37 of 40 shots that night, and was a huge reason why the Flyers were able to come away with the win. Jones is currently 3-1-0 on the season in 4 starts, posting a 2.77 GAA and a .932 SV%. I know he doesn’t have as many starts as the only goalies that are competing with him, but Jones is currently 10th in the league in SV%, right behind Carter Hart.
The line up will be the same per AV, with Kevin Hayes’ status still up in the air. There is no update according to the Flyers coach right now, but hopefully they get something between the next 24 hours.
