Eagles claim former cornerback off waiver wire

After being gone for a few weeks, cornerback Mac McCain was brought back to the Eagles, being claimed off the waiver wire. The Eagles waived McCain two weeks ago to clear room for Jordan Howard on the active roster. The Denver Broncos quickly picked him up, having been his original home.
The Broncos signed McCain as a UDFA this offseason and released him, with the Eagles claiming him a week after. Philadelphia was able to bring McCain onto their active roster after playing Davion Taylor on injured reserve.
Philadelphia has a deep group at cornerback, and the most McCain will play is likely on special teams at best. With Taylor missing significant time with knee surgery, Mac McCain will likely be on the roster for the remainder of the season.
