Rivlary Week: Parx Sportsbook Odds Boosts for Ohio State/Michigan and Bedlam

It’s the final week of the regular season in college football, and we have a loaded slate this afternoon with playoff implications and bowl eligibility on the line. Penn State and Michigan State face off in a battle of newly extended coaches, while Michigan hosts Ohio State in hopes of moving into the top four. As always, our partners over at Parx Sportsbook have some great odds boosts for this afternoon’s lineup.

#5 Michigan to beat #2 Ohio State (Boosted from +235 to +300):
Don’t let the rankings fool you. This game is more of a mismatch than it looks. The Buckeyes are unstoppable, beating 7th ranked Michigan State 49-0 at HALFTIME last week. Ohio State has the best passing offense in football by a mile and could be considered the best team in the nation.
Michigan has been good this season as well but lost to the Spartans for their only defeat this season. The last time UM beat Ohio State was over ten years ago in 2011, and it could be a while still. If you hate OSU or think Jim Harbaugh will finally get it done, this is the bet for you.
Penn State to beat #12 Michigan State by 3+ points (Boosted from -108 to +120):
Michigan State got handed an all-time bad loss last week by Ohio State and will be looking for redemption against Penn State this afternoon. Both the Nittany Lions and Spartans inked their coaches to massive $100 million deals recently, witheach having something to prove.
After last week, I think the Spartans might phone in today’s game allowing Penn State to win their 8th game of the season in hopes of landing a bowl game. The odds aren’t great, but if Lucky Luciano believes, you better ride with it.
#10 Oklahoma and #7 Oklahoma State to score over 60 points (Boosted from +245 to +310):
One of the best rivalries in football and one that is always a shootout. Last season, the total was 54 points, with Oklahoma State far more competitive this season, with both teams being 10-1. Throughout 2021, Oklahoma and OSU are averaging over 30 points per game each, with the Sooners at 38.9.
The problem is Oklahoma State’s defense is phenomenal, allowing the second-fewest points per game in the country at just 14.9. All it takes today is an average offensive showing from both sides for this over to hit, and I think that will happen easily.
