Eagles promote guard from practice squad, injury update on Jason Kelce

Finally, some good news regarding the Philadelphia Eagles offensive line. In an expected move, the Eagles promoted Brett Toth to the active roster after placing Jack Driscoll on injured reserve. Toth proves help at guard and tackle, having been with the active roster and practice squad for several seasons.
Alongside that, Derrick Gunn reported that Jason Kelce would be good to go this Sunday against the New York Jets. Kelce played through what was thought to be a knee injury and was in obvious pain before returning to the game. The Eagles’ captain is an absolute warrior, and it’s phenomenal to see him fight through so many injuries like this.
After promoting Toth, he will be the only backup guard alongside Sua Opeta. Philadelphia also has Andre Dillard ready to go if needed, but luckily their bye week is after this Sunday. After the bye, they should hopefully be getting Brandon Brooks and Jack Anderson back into the mix.
