Jalen Hurts’ status for Sunday’s game against Jets revealed

Some good news for the Eagles ahead of their matchup this weekend against the New York Jets. After concerns he would be inactive due to a sore ankle, Jalen Hurts said he would be good to go for Sunday. Philadelphia wouldn’t specify his availability earlier this week and had been preparing Gardner Minshew.

There is no word yet on if the injury is still affecting Jalen Hurts or if it’ll limit his mobility in the run game. Regardless, it’s great to see him out there, but hopefully, he doesn’t risk anything further. The Eagles do have a bye after this week, which should give him some extra time to rest.

Alongside Jalen Hurts, Jason Kelce is expected to be available for Sunday while Jack Driscoll is done for the season. Brett Toth was promoted in his absence, and we will likely get a better view of the entire team’s status when their practice report is released in the near future.
