Fletcher Cox calls out C.J Mosley’s false accusations of disrespect towards Jets

Following the Eagles victory over the New York Jets, linebacker C.J Mosley took to the podium to voice his displeasure with the Eagles’ actions during the game. Mosley said that the Eagles didn’t shake hands at the coin toss, and Fletcher Cox was laughing at Jets head coach Robert Saleh during the game.
Well, this was not the case (shocking, I know). Eagles defensive tackle Fletcher Cox took to Instagram tonight in response to Mosley.

It’s evidently clear that Mosley was lying about what occurred during today’s game. Even if it’s not a handshake, a hug is a clear sign of respect and it’s disrespectful to say those things about Cox after the game. What would he get of lying to the media about how the team acted?
I’m sure Moseley is just upset that he’s on the New York Jets and thought that no one would care about what he said. Fletcher Cox, however, will always keep his receipts. The Eagles now enter the bye week with a record of 6-7 and look to make a push for the playoffs.
The bye week couldn’t come at a better time for this team who left the game banged up. The Eagles return to action in two weeks as the Washington Football Team comes to town for the first matchup of the season. The rest of the season is crucial as they will be playing all NFC East opponents.
