Jets reportedly didn’t prepare for Gardner Minshew to play today

The Jets and being an absolute train wreck, name a more iconic duo. After their loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, things appeared to be falling apart at the hinges for the 3-9 squad. Jalen Hurts was rumored to be out all week, and according to cornerback Bryce Hall, the team didn’t prepare for Gardner Minshew at all.
Hall followed it up by saying there was no need to since they play similarly. Hall is correct, except for the fact that Hurts is the best running QB in football while Gardner Minshew is far better in the pocket. It’s inexcusable not to prepare for another entire game plan from Philadelphia, especially when New York has a defensive-minded head coach.
Following that up, linebacker C.J. Mosley was upset with how the Eagles treated the Jets after the game. Mosley said Philadelphia did not respect them, refusing to shake their hands and laughing at their coach during the game.
Gardner Minshew had a fantastic day against the Jets’ defense, completing 20 of his 25 passes while throwing two touchdowns. I guess it helped that the Jets never thought of the possibility of going up against Minshew, even though he was expected to play for a whole day before the game.
