Everything surrounding the Philadelphia Flyers is brutal right now. The team announced this morning that they fired their head coach Alain Vigneault. Intern Head Coach Mike Yeo and his now 8-10-4 Flyers look to snap an 8-game losing streak tonight against the 12-7-2 Colorado Avalanche. You can catch the game at 7 PM on NBCSP.

The entire vibe surrounding the vibe is absolute dog shit. Nothing captured the feeling better than a few police dogs that visited the Wells Fargo Center during skate arounds this morning. A few dogs were barking at Avalanche’s J.T. Compher as he was skating around the rink today. Afterwards, he greeted the dogs and one of them straight up shit on the Flyers logo.

You really can’t ask for a better thing to happen. The Flyers are shit. Even police dogs know it. It was truly a symbolic moment for the Philadelphia Flyers. Hopefully we will be able to look back at this moment and think of it as a turning point in the season but I wouldn’t hold your breath.
