Back to form? 76ers-Jazz Preview, Odds, Predictions

The Philadelphia 76ers are currently riding a three game win streak and have won four of their past five games. Tonight, we will face the 17-7 Utah Jazz in South Philadelphia on the second half of a road-home back-to-back. To say the least, tonight’s game should be an interesting litmus test for a Sixers team still searching for consistency.
This season, the Philadelphia 76ers will continue to go as far as Joel Embiid will take them. After missing a large chunk of games due to COVID-19, it’s safe to say that Embiid is back and finally returning to the MVP form we witnessed from him last year.
Joel Embiid over the 76ers’ last three games has been basically unstoppable.Â
The Sixers won all three games, the first against the Atlanta Hawks and the last two against a depleted Charlotte Hornets team.
The Utah Jazz enter tonight on a five game winning streak and have won six out of their last eight games. During that span, they have led the NBA in points scored per possessions and have a 122.1 offensive rating.
Defensively, the Jazz have struggled to remain consistent. A key tonight will be getting Joel Embiid scoring in the paint. The Utah Jazz are allowing 59.6% shooting in the restricted area over their last eight games, which sets Embiid up perfectly for another dominating performance.

Other bets on the Parx Sportsbook app that I like are the following:
- Points, Rebounds, Assist Combined Total: Joel Embiid O 39.5 (-113)
- Joel Embiid First Basket: (+400)
- Value Play: Joel Embiid O 24.5 and Sixers Win (+285)
Player Points:
- Joel Embiid O 24.5 (-127)
- Seth Curry O 14.5 (-127)
- Danny Green O 7.5 (+100)
For the game, the back-to-back is concerning but I do like the 76ers chances given Utah’s struggles in the paint defensively. Let’s ride with Embiid dominating and a Sixers win.
Parx Sportsbook Picks: Sixers +3.5 and the over 216
