Gardner Minshew and Lane Johnson spend BYE Week hunting and fishing

While many take the bye week to recover and relax, Lane Johnson and Eagles’ backup quarterback Gardner Minshew took to the woods to go hunting. Johnson tweeted out photos of him and Minshew on their outing, including hunting, fishing, and relaxing outdoors. The two appeared to make out well, each getting a buck alongside a good-sized fish.

Minshew has some history with the outdoors, going duck hunting last season with a viral photo. The Eagles locker room loved Gardner Minshew’s performance against the New York Jets, and it’s great to see him grow a bond with his teammates so quickly. This team loves both of their QBs, with reports stating the players were sold on Hurts being their QB of the future.

No other news has come out regarding the rest of the team’s weekends off, but I can guess that none were as interesting as Minshew and Johnson’s. This bye week was desperately needed with numerous players, including Hurts, dealing with injuries and based on Nick Sirianni’s reports earlier this week, it appears everyone will be good to go for next week’s crucial battle against the Washington Football Team.

Cheers to the weekend.
