Here is the Philadelphia Union’s 2022 Schedule
The Philadelphia Union’s 2022 MLS schedule has officially been released.
Looking ahead for the Union
The Union starts the season on February 22nd at home in Subaru Park, where they will take on Minnesota United. They have gone 2-1-1 in four matches against Minnesota in the club’s history. They will play 17 home and 17 away games, facing their conference opponents two times and western conference opponents one time. In total, five games are set to be nationally televised.
Don’t worry Union fans, you won’t have to wait for long to see MLS Cup winner NYCFC. The two clubs meet again at Yankee Stadium on March 19th. Make sure to circle that date on your calendars.
In the month of April, the Union will be staying home for most of their matches. They will be playing Charolette FC for the first time ever as the new expansion club enters the league.
May will be a busy month of the year for the boys in blue as they play six games, with four being on the road. Traveling to Los Angeles FC, Nashville SC, Portland Timbers, and New England Revolution won’t be an easy task. In addition, the Union will be playing six games in July and August.
The Union will end their 2022 regular season on October 1st in a road match against new expansion club Charlotte FC. Jim Curtin and company will look to get some payback next season following the unforeseen circumstances of health and safety protocols. Philly already has their roster ready to roll starting in February.
