Eagles injury report remains the same going into Sunday’s game against Washington

After a clean practice report yesterday, things are looking better for the Philadelphia Eagles this afternoon.

The same nine players were listed on the injury report yesterday and today. However, today five were full participants, and of those five, three were just rest days.

Eagles Injury Report for December 16th:

Jalen Hurts, Miles Sanders, and Jordan Howard remain limited in practice, with things not looking so great. Hurts has been practicing but is noticeably not at full strength, walking to certain drills instead of jogging. According to reporters at practice, he looked better than last week, and it could all be precautionary.

Ahead of their last practice, Nick Sirianni stated all three were trending upwards, so hopefully, they should be good for Sunday. I wouldn’t be shocked if Philadelphia held out Hurts one more week due to Washington’s current state.

The Football Team’s defense is ravaged and has 21 players out currently due to COVID-19. It could make sense to rest Hurts and see what Minshew can do against another team and build his potential trade value. Tomorrow we should get a better look at Sunday’s inactives and what type of team the Eagles will be facing this weekend.
