Parx Odds Boost: Patriots vs. Colts in Saturday Night Football
Eight of the next ten days are filled with NFL games as a result of schedule changes due to the current COVID outbreak within the league. Everything starts today with some good ol’ Saturday night football.
We were also supposed to have a Saturday afternoon matchup between the Las Vegas Raiders and the Cleveland Browns, however, the Browns are in shambles right now, down 20+ men, including two quarterbacks, due to positive COVID tests. This game has been re-scheduled for Monday evening at 5PM ET.
Odds Boost: Colts’ Jonathan Taylor to Score the 1st Touchdown (Was +340, Now +450)
Betting this game itself is a tricky one. The Colts are currently 2.5 point home favorites as they come off their bye, but as we know, the Patriots have been nothing short of unstoppable.
New England will not be fully complete here though as they have to play this one without running back Damien Harris so there certainly is a lot up in the air. The argument for either team to come out on top in this matchup is a valid one, but one thing is for certain – Jonathan Taylor is an absolute beast.
Sure, first touchdown scorers are always risky, but Taylor has been a powerhouse and is an easy favorite to bring home the first TD. With +450 odds, I think it is inexcusable to not take advantage of this boost.
An interesting stat to take note of here, Jonathan Taylor is currently leading the lead with a juke rate of 49%. So basically, he is out here breaking ankles and putting on an absolute show. Bill Belichick and this Patriots defense have a chance here to contain Taylor enough to pull off of a win, but there is no silencing him completely.
Regardless, the Colts offense runs through Taylor and the odds in this boost are just too good to miss out on.
