Parx Sportsbook: SportyJordy’s Best Bets for NFL Week 15

Well, there is a lot to unpack from this week isn’t there?
There has been some chaos surrounding the NFL over the last few days as COVID spreads like wildfire and as a result, we are seeing scheduling changes.
We are down to just one game today after the Raiders and Browns matchup was pushed until Monday evening. There are also two fewer games on Sunday, one of those being the Philadelphia Eagles taking on the Washington Football Team, followed by the Rams going up against the Seattle Seahawks. Both of those games are now scheduled for Tuesday at 7 PM ET.
As we continue on, I simply just do not have any great news to follow up with seeing as this week is a pretty tough one for betting. For the most part, the point spreads are large which always feels like a trap.
Regardless, here’s what I have to help guide you on cashing out this weekend across the NFL.

Patriots vs. Colts
Let’s kick this off with some Saturday night football. Previously, I gave you guys a great Parx Sportsbook Odds Boost for this one, but now let’s talk about how this game is going to end up.
Personally, I am shocked that the Colts are favored here.
Parx Sportsbook has the spread right now at 2.5 in favor of Indianapolis, the home team. Granted, this can be justified for sure – the Colts are fresh off of their bye week, they have been solid as ever over the last couple of weeks, and they have Jonathan Taylor who is a difference-maker. The Patriots will also be without Damien Harris in this one.
I did fall into this trap last week taking the Cincinnati Bengals as underdogs, but the Patriots have been playing too smart.
The Colts are also 0-6 when Jonathan Taylor is held to 100-yards or less – you don’t think a Bill Belichick defense is going to do everything they can to slow him down? To assume that would just be naive.
I am so confident in the Patriots that I am taking them money line here, the points are for the weak in this one.
Parx Sportsbook Pick: Patriots Moneyline (+112)
Jets vs. Miami
The Miami Dolphins taking on the New York Jets is one of the few larger points spreads this weekend that does not scare me at all.
I know that is not traditional in a divisional matchup, but the last time these two saw each other in Week 11, the Dolphins comfortably won by a touchdown in New York, and since then this team has continued to improve.
The Jets also suffered an embarrassing loss (even for the Jets) in Week 14 allowing the Saints to come into New York and take an easy 30-9 victory back to New Orleans with them.
I can’t stress it enough. The Miami Dolphins just keep getting stronger. After starting the season 1-7 they have rallied, winning their last five games and are currently sitting with a 6-7 record and playoff hopes still very much alive.
The Dolphins do not have to travel this week as they have home-field advantage, they are also coming in well-rested and ready to go fresh off of their bye week, which could not have come at a more perfect time.
I am all over Miami winning by at least 10 here.
Parx Sportsbook Pick: Dolphins -9.5
Bengals vs. Broncos
Don’t laugh – I am taking the Bengals here, again. I am ready to be hurt, again.
Yes, Cincinnati has suffered back-to-back losses at home but with the way I see it, this Bengals team will be highly motivated after coming up just short of the 49ers in overtime as that knocked them out of the AFC Playoff picture entirely. This “in the hunt” team will play as if their season is on the line.
Come on, this offense and defense are both too strong for them to be falling off. Week 15 will set the Bengals back on track.
I solemnly swear if they are to crush my soul, again, this week I am done betting the Cincinnati Bengals for the rest of the 2021 season.
But I can not see it happening… I love the looks of Bengals +3.
Parx Sportsbook Pick: Bengals +3
Packers vs. Ravens
This should be one of the best games this weekend but with the way things are shaping up, I just do not think this is going to be the case.
Lamar Jackson has never lost to an NFC team in his career… but I think he gets his first one this Sunday.
Even after suffering an ankle sprain in last week’s game against the Browns, Jackson is still expected to be QB1 and yes, Aaron Rodgers is also dealing with a toe injury ahead of this matchup.
The difference is, the way Aaron Rodgers has been playing, you would never know he is injured. Baltimore has been riddled with injuries since before this season even began and Lamar Jackson was the one-piece really holding them together. However, over the course of the last few weeks it has really began to wear on him.
Now add in the injury and I am afraid Lamar Jackson not being at 100% is going to severely impact Baltimore.
Ravens do have the advantage of a top-ranked special teams but unfortunately, I just do not think it is going to be enough against this Super Bowl-caliber Green Bay squad.
As much as it pains me to say, Lamar Jackson will get handed his first loss from an NFC team this weekend and the Packers cover as 7-point road favorites.
Parx Sportsbook Pick: Packers -7
