Wade Allison was injured again in his last game in Lehigh Valley and is out for the foreseeable future. This is such a tough break for Allison who can never get a sprinkle of luck.
Brassard remains day-to-day and Fletcher said he’s progressing. An update on Ryan Ellis was also given and he is still week-to-week.
Chuck Fletcher’s update on Ryan Ellis: “It’s still week-to-week. Doing better. He’s been skating a little bit. So that’s progress. He’s feeling better. Clearly, he won’t play before the break. But once we come out of the break, we’re hopeful that he’ll be closer to playing.”

Sean Couturier didn’t practice today and according to Fletcher it was just a maintenance day. Kevin Hayes left practice early and was promptly placed in COVID-19 protocol. In response, the Flyers recalled Jackson Cates.
Not surprising given Kevin Hayes’ departure at practice today, but #Flyers are calling up forward Jackson Cates.
