Joel Embiid likes tweet, keeps a close eye on Celtics struggles in Boston

Just last week, the Philadelphia 76ers were in Boston and Joel Embiid absolutely destroyed the Celtics down the stretch to give the Sixers a much needed 108-103 victory in Boston.
After the game, we learned that Joel Embiid in the final minutes looked to the Celtics bench and told Ime Udoka that he was a “mother fucking monster” after hitting the go ahead shot with seconds left on the clock.
Embiid finished the night scoring 41 points, grabbing 10 rebounds, assisting on five shots and blocking four. The Celtics are now two games under .500 with a record of 16-18. They are in 9th place in the Eastern Conference standings and things haven’t been going well on the court or in the locker room.
Jaylen Brown was thought to be a target in a potential Ben Simmons trade about a month ago, but as with the majority of rumors surrounding Simmons, nothing really came of the Sixers-Celtics trade chatter.
Regardless of the trade rumors, it does appear that Joel Embiid is keeping a close eye on everything that is happening in Boston. Today, Embiid liked the tweet above from Keith Smith talking about trouble in the Celtics locker room.

Good to see that Embiid is still keeping tabs on the situation unfolding in Boston. Landing someone like Jaylen Brown and finally putting an end to the Ben Simmons saga here in Philadelphia would be the best possible scenario for the Philadelphia 76ers.
The Sixers are back in action tonight in Toronto against the Raptors.
