Joel Embiid tells Ime Udoka that he’s a “Mother F****** Monster”

Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers snapped a three game skid in Boston on Monday night. Embiid was incredible throughout the game and finished with 41 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, four blocks, and two steals on Monday at the TD Garden.
In the fourth quarter, Embiid put on an absolute clinic, scoring 17 points while snagging four rebounds, a steal, and blocking two shots. He was 4-7 from the floor and 9-10 from the free throw line. The Sixers won the game 108-103 to stay above .500 and more to 16-15 on the season.
On a recent episode of his podcast, Bill Simmons, who was court side at the game, caught this exchange in the fourth quarter as Embiid dominated the Celtics.
Joel Embiid “I’m a mother fucking monster”
Ime Udoka, who is now the head coach of Boston, previously spent time as an assistant with the 76ers during the Brett Brown era. When the Sixers went up four and coming out of a Boston timeout, Embiid wanted Udoka to know that he’s a “mother fucking monster.”
You got damn right you are, Joel. Please continue to carry the 76ers and remind everyone who might have forgotten that you’re a mother fucking monster. Hopefully we’ll catch the next one on video.
The Sixers will play the Hawks tomorrow night in South Philadelphia. It was announced earlier today that Danny Green entered health and safety protocols. The Hawks are dealing with a bunch of COVID issues as well, so keep an eye out to see if the game still gets played or if we’re heading to another postponement.
