Eagles Injury Report: Jordan Howard’s status for Sunday revealed

After returning to practice yesterday afternoon, Jordan Howard is now listed as questionable play this Sunday against the Washington Football Team. Outside of Howard, the only other player listed is Miles Sanders, who was ruled out earlier this week.
Eagles Status Report for December 31st:

Howard was in just shoulder pads and a helmet yesterday, wearing supports underneath his shoulder pads. The Eagles running back has had issues with these injuries in the past, so Nick Sirianni could hold him out for precautionary measures. However, it’s hard to imagine Howard won’t be active if he was practicing with extra pads so late into the week.
The Eagles’ rushing attack has done well without both Howard and Sanders in the past, so things should be okay if he’s inactive. If he is out, Boston Scott and Kenny Gainwell will likely split the carries for Philadelphia. Howard’s snaps probably won’t be around his usual amount even if he does play due to the stinger.
Having no other injuries is a massive boost for the Eagles, who need a win to potentially clinch a wildcard berth. Washington has a slim injury list as well, with only cornerback William Jackson III ruled out. Defensive end Montez Sweat and wide receiver Curtis Samuel are both questionable.
