Eagles Injury Report: Miles Sanders out, two questionable for Saturday’s game against Dallas

Since the Eagles play on Saturday this week, the team released their status reports for this weekend one day early. Only three players were given an injury designation, but there’s a chance more are ruled out ahead of kick-off. Since more players aren’t listed, expect everyone to play, but only for a quarter or so.
Eagles Status Report for January 6th

Miles Sanders
Sanders was ruled out earlier this week due to his broken hand, but it’s now official. There have been no updates since, but hopefully, he should be good to go for their wildcard matchup.
Landon Dickerson
Dickerson has missed time this week with a thumb injury but likely won’t play this weekend. In a game that doesn’t matter, it’s better to let the rookie guard rest before the playoffs. There hasn’t been much talk about the injury so fans shouldn’t worry.
Lane Johnson
Johnson is a surprising addition, with his official reasoning being rest and a knee injury. Since rest is listed, this is definitely precautionary and nothing to be concerned about.
Jalen Hurts
Hurts had no injury designation, which means he will play a bit on Saturday unless he’s a surprise inactive two hours before the game. Sirianni stated this morning Hurts is still recovering from the sprained ankle against New York, but hasn’t reinjured or tweaked it since.
COVID
Sirianni also mentioned that all 12 players out due to COVID are ready to go if they are cleared by Saturday. Those 12 names include Fletcher Cox, Jason Kelce, Dallas Goedert, and several other starters. The Eagles are still discussing benching their starters but haven’t officially decided yet. With the playoffs starting in a week, the Eagles could keep these players away for a few more days just to be safe.
