Ben Simmons #21 shirt appears in NJ, is Rich Paul the culprit?

A curious piece of Ben Simmons Sixers gear appeared in Burlington Coat Factory in Cinnaminson, NJ. At first glance, the t-shirt seems to be a standard, but likely outdated, piece of clothing branded with the disgruntled Australian’s name. However, the back is emblazoned with a massive #21, as if spitting in the face of God himself.
Sounds fake, right? No store would willingly sell a shirt combining Joel Embiid’s number with the name of a traitor. But, unfortunately, it’s all too real.
I’m sure you’re thinking to yourself, “How the hell did this even happen?” I’ve been wondering the same thing myself. There are so many possible explanations for such a horrific violation of good taste. The initial sight of them made me too nauseous to even think.
But then again, the answer is oh so obvious, especially to a diseased Sixers fan and credible reporter like myself.
This has Rich Paul’s fingerprints all over it.
After hours of confusion, it’s clear this is yet another attempt at propaganda by Paul and Klutch Sports. We’ve already seen them weaponize Twitter bots to try and force a lopsided Simmons trade to the Warriors. Apparently, that was just the tip of the iceberg.
How does this Klutch Sports PsyOp aid Simmons?
That’s the scary part. I have no idea, which is precisely what makes Rich Paul, and especially these shirts, incredibly dangerous to the Philadelphian way of life. I am not afraid of Paul and Simmons, but I do fear what they might do to force their way out of town.
Regardless of my total cluelessness, I have worked up a couple of theories as to Klutch Sports’ motivation for printing these things.
The shirts are designed to associate Simmons with the #21 in the minds of Sixers fans.
How does this help? Well, over time, it would cause fans to subconsciously transfer some of their hatred for Simmons to Joel Embiid. Sure, it sounds like a stupid conspiracy theory, but most Cold War CIA-style psychological operations sound like the ravings of a madman.
I am proud to be that madman today.
The shirts are made solely to sow discontent among Sixers fans.
I wouldn’t have thought of this before, but when The Liberty Line tweeted the Simmons shirts’ images, the response from some individuals was… interesting. In fact, some even claimed it was totally fake!
When I pressed him to elaborate, he explained he felt the shirt was photoshopped. Obviously it isn’t. It most likely would’ve been easier to design and print a t-shirt with our corporate overlords at DSGN Tree. They have outdated Ben Simmons shirts of their own for purchase if you’re into that sort of thing.
Regardless, take a good look at the detail here:

Just look at how seriously difficult it would be for someone with real zero photoshop experience. I should have hit him with a “Grow up, Skippy” but I have a little more creativity than that. Hopefully he comes to his senses before he is lost in Paul’s clutches (pun vehemently not intended).
Sadly, it appears Simmons and Paul have already started to get their way, preying on the feeblest minds we have in our fanbase. This truly is a sickening display of disregard for the wellbeing of Philadelphians from the dastardly duo. Something I shan’t soon forget.
Of course, it could have been a factory misprint they’re selling for 10 bucks because it’s hilarious, but where’s the fun in that?
