Claude Giroux is an All-Star for the 7th time in his career

The NHL announced rosters for the 2022 All-Star Game, which will be held in Las Vegas over two days on February 4th and 5th. The All-Star Game will have a three-game, 3-on-3 tournament with players from each division. Each of the four teams will have nine skaters and two goalies.
Claude Giroux will be representing the Philadelphia Flyers. Giroux, who turned 34 yesterday, has easily been the Flyers best player this season, posting 29 points in 32 games.

Flyers Captain @28CGiroux will rep the Orange & Black for the seventh time at the mid-season showcase. https://t.co/wdWoQcYfDH
2022 marks the seventh All-Star appearance for Giroux but honestly, it should be more. Keep in mind the NHL cancelled the All-Star game more than once during his career.
As for the rest of the Flyers, tonight will be the first time we’ve seen Claude Giroux since completing COVID protocol and you know he’s itching to get out there after some lackluster performances of late.

The Flyers are currently 13-15-7 and have lost five straight games. Watching this team without Giroux is an easy recipe for destroying your TV so trust me, we’re extremely glad to see you back, G.
