Big daddy props is back in the lab looking to stay hot today with another winner. Wisconsin is on the road tonight squaring off against a very good Illinois team.

Both teams are coming off back-to-back wins and are now playing for the top spot in the Big Ten.

The line is currently Illinois -7 and I’m here to tell you that 7 points against this Wisconsin team feels like way too much.

I feel so confident in Wisconsin +7 that it scares me. It has me down right frightened how much I feel like the Badgers are a lock tonight.

Let’s break it on down.

A lot of people make their picks on feel or rankings. Me personally, I love situational trends. If a team is in certain a situation, I want need to know how they perform under those circumstances. I don’t care about all the power lines and all that bullshit so save it. Just tell me is the team a proven under the situation we find them in. And in Wisconsin’s case for the game tonight, the answer is a big time yes.

The Badgers so far this season ATS are 12-8 and an impressive 11-5 coming off a win. They are also 4-2 ATS on the road and 5-1 straight up in those six games. My favorite trend to look at is how they play as favorites or underdogs. Wisconsin has been an underdog 4 times this year and are 3-1 ATS in those games.

Love love love that.

Let’s Talk Illinois

As for Illinois, they are 9-11 overall ATS this year, only 6-5 at home and as a favorite 8-10. They are winning games when they are the favorite, they just aren’t covering most times.

Everyone knows the saying. Good Teams Win, Great Teams Cover.

But the biggest factor looking us all right in the face that you can’t ignore.

Illinois is 0-3 ATS vs ranked opponents.

Another thing to keep in mind is Illinois top scorer is a 7-foot center, named Kofi Cockburn (easy now). Any time your center is your top scorer the games tend to play under more often than not. Hard to run away and hide by seven points when the under is hitting, as it has in 5 of the last 8 games for Illinois.

This screams Wisconsin cover and possible moneyline upset. At +250, this is officially a sprinkle alert.
