Embiid buries Ben Simmons with last parting tweet after 76ers trade
Joel Embiid has done it again. His cryptic Twitter antics leading up to the trade deadline have been peak “Troel,” but after the Sixers completed a trade to send Ben Simmons to the Nets for James Harden, he took it one step further.
Sure, Embiid could’ve unloaded on Simmons on the timeline, letting him know exactly how he felt. Instead, he fired up Twitter to ether Ben on his way to Brooklyn in a way only he could.

Now in this business, that’s what we call an “elite tweet.” Embiid took a classic meme and bashed a now ex-teammate over the head with it in the most public forum available.

Since the end of the 2021 Playoffs, Simmons really has been his biggest hater. Every report that came from Simmons’ camp slandered the Big Fella as a teammate.
After Simmons and his agency ripped him in the media, I see why he would take this shot on the timeline.
