Jordan Mailata attends Super Bowl 56, tells fans they’ll be back soon enough

Eagle’s offensive tackle Jordan Mailata attended last night’s Super Bowl between the Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals.

Although it should’ve been a fun weekend for anyone attending, Mailata took being in the stands instead of on the sidelines personally. NBC’s John Clark spoke with Mailata at Super Bowl 56 and asked the left tackle how badly he wanted to play in the big game.

“Heartache and pure agony sitting here watching other people play in the biggest game in the world.”

Mailata then finished his statement by saying the Eagles will get there one day, saying, “Bet your ass we will.”

First off, what a stupid-ass question by John Clark. How bad do you want to be in the Super Bowl? Like, of course Mailata wants to win a championship. There’s no need to rub it in his face when he’s clearly there to have fun.

Both DeVonta Smith and Jalen Hurts have drawn inspiration from the Bengals’ title run as well. Smith spoke with 76ers forward Danny Green about how he and Hurts spoke immediately following the game about how they would be there soon enough.

Darius Slay took to twitter after Super Bowl 56 to voice his desire to make it to the Super Bowl as well.

Eagles’ center Jason Kelce was also in attendance, rocking flip flops with his suit during the Walter Payton Man of the Year presentation.
