Brian Dawkins gives thoughts on Jalen Hurts and Eagles’ QB situation

Despite the Eagles’ public endorsement of Jalen Hurts as the starter in 2022, many speculate if the team will actually stand pat at the position.
As the futures of Russell Wilson, Deshaun Watson and Aaron Rodgers remain in question, the Eagles will be a constant team involved in quarterback rumors.
Former players have been vocal about their opinions on Jalen Hurts, the latest of which being Hall of Fame safety Brian Dawkins:
“He has a level of fight in him that you should love. And the dude is extremely talented on the field. He’s not all of a sudden at the best he is ever going to be in, really, his rookie year”

Philadelphia currently holds three picks in the top-20 of the upcoming NFL draft. Many believe the franchise should utilize those picks to acquire a new quarterback, while others lean towards moving forward with Hurts and building the roster around him.
Knowing GM Howie Roseman, the Eagles likely won’t keep all three picks. It wouldn’t shock me if they moved one for future draft assets with an eye on Bryce Young or CJ Stroud.
