Two teams in the Northwoods League have banned Rob Manfred from attending any baseball games during the 2022 season

All hail the Northwoods League. Two teams, one being the Bismarck Larks aka the “moral compass of baseball & fun” have officially banned MLB Commissioner and known rat Rob Manfred from attending any of their games until the lockout ends.
You might not know much about the Northwoods League, but from what I’ve read they seem pretty legit, with alumni that include Max Scherzer, Pete Alonzo, and Curtis Granderson, among others. What I do know is that every team seems to revolve around having fun so they are perfectly fine in my book.
First up are the Bismarck Larks, who are a proven leader in development of elite college baseball players. Their mission is to use fun to make a difference in the lives of players, families, businesses, and communities that they serve.
Obviously, that goes against everything Rob Manfred stands for, so of course he’s now banned from attending any Larks games until the lockout is over.
In a statement released a few days ago on Twitter, the Larks decided to make a strong stand against Manfred with a full blown ban until the MLB and MLBPA figure out a resolution on a new CBA.
Might be the easiest ban ever instituted, honestly. I would rather talk to my couch than zero-fun, no morals, Rob Manfred.
The Larks aren’t the only Northwoods League banning Manfred from attending games this season. The Kalamazoo Growlers have also banned him from attending any games and even took it a step further in saying that a ban until the lockout is over wasn’t enough, so they are banning Manfred FOR LIFE.
“The Growlers stand strong in their belief that fun is the key to baseball,” the team added. “Rob Manfred stands in direct opposition to these beliefs.”
With two teams now banning Manfred in the Northwoods League, and the Growlers banning him for life, we can’t let momentum die. Every team in the Northwoods League should take it a step further and ban Manfred from attending any baseball events, or hell, even entering the state of North Dakota.
From there, although it would be painful for baseball fans, I would love to see the minor league teams completely halt their operations and playing baseball as well. Yes, it would suck, but the entire baseball world should simply stop playing until the overlords in the MLB figure out a resolution.
United we stand.
