It’s only Wednesday. Tomorrow night, Ben Simmons will make his return to Philadelphia to sit on the bench as a member of the Brooklyn Nets. His new team, who are a complete mess, will play the second place 76ers. Simmons will not be playing but is expected to get a warm welcome from the Philly faithful upon his return.

Last night, we had Kevin Durant during Nets postgame basically saying that NBA fans (76ers fans) who come to games to heckle players (Ben Simmons) have shitty lives and nothing better to do than to come to a basketball game to take their anger out on players.

Yes, that’s literally the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard in my life.

Minutes after I posted that article, Ben Simmons was on Instagram commenting on posts about him returning to Philly but not actually playing basketball.

Shortly after that, Pardon My Take dropped a new episode with JJ Redick and we got yet another piece of content about Ben Simmons and which hand he should be shooting with.

Say what you want about Ben Simmons, but man, he sure does drive clicks. Maybe it would be better for him to never play basketball again, hint that he might play basketball for the rest of his career, and invest in websites across the world that just report on him? Honestly, it’s a better business move than whatever he’s currently doing with Klutch Sports and Rich Paul.

Anyways, here’s the clip of JJ Redick talking about Ben Simmons shooting a basketball.

Yes, Ben Simmons literally told JJ Redick, one of the best shooters of all time, that he disagrees with him when Redick offered his advice on what hand he should be shooting with. I mean that should come as no surprise to anyone. Of course Ben Simmons thinks he’s right and everyone else is wrong. That’s literally one of his strongest character traits.

Ben Simmons writes with his right hand. Apparently when he throws, he does it with his right hand. And also, as JJ Redick mentions and anyone who is a psycho like me and has been watching Ben Simmons do this for the last four years when he actually played basketball, he sometimes jumps off the wrong foot when he takes layups or dunks the basketball.

Those are all solid reasons why Ben Simmons can’t shoot a damn basketball to save his life.

Personally, I’m left handed in everything that I do in life. I do however, play sports right handed. That’s also probably the reason I absolutely suck at sports.

See Ben? It’s not hard to admit when you suck at something.

If JJ Redick is telling you that your form when shooting the basketball actually resemblers you shooting with the other hand, I really don’t think there’s anything up for debate at that point. You stop whatever you’re doing, find a basketball, and immediately start shooting with whatever hand JJ Redick instructed you to use.
