What is JJ Redick doing with the Philadelphia 76ers?

Well, this is somewhat intriguing. JJ Redick just posted a picture on Twitter of him sitting in front of a Sixers backdrop with an emoji smiley face.
Is a return to Philadelphia about to happen? Hell, the 76ers could use another three point shooter off the bench heading into the playoffs. I wouldn’t be mad if Redick wanted to give the Sixers eight minutes of action.
Right after the trade deadline, Twitter users mentioned Redick a million times suggesting that he return to the 76ers to chase an NBA Championship one last time.
Redick responded by liking all of the tweets he was mentioned in, but nothing really came of it. That was back on February 11th so maybe it’s possible that he didn’t want to play the final two months of the regular season, but rather wait until the playoffs start.
JJ Redick with the Sixers
JJ Redick averaged 17.6 points, 2.8 assists, and 2.5 rebounds in 146 games for the 76ers. After leaving Philly, he joined the New Orleans Pelicans and averaged 13.0 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 1.7 assists in 91 games. Before retiring, Redick had a brief stint with the Mavericks, averaging 4.4 points, 0.9 rebounds, and 0.8 assists over 13 games.
Honestly, I bet he’s recording his podcast or something. Would be much cooler if he was playing or joining the 76ers broadcast though.
JJ in the broadcast booth?
Look, I’m not here to start any problems but anyone who thinks that JJ Redick in the broadcast booth with Marc Jackson next season isn’t the best possible outcome after what we have gone through this year with Kate Scott and Alaa would be lying to themselves. Get this guy behind a microphone and end whatever is currently happening with the crew there now.

Redick was just recording a podcast with Embiid. Nice work there on social media. He knew exactly what he was doing.
