Howie Roseman to be featured speaker at next week’s NFL Women’s Forum

Next week is the NFL’s Women’s Forum, and Eagles GM Howie Roseman will be one of the featured speakers. The upcoming event is aimed to bolster the pipeline for women in football operations roles.
There isn’t much information available about next week’s event, but last season’s forum took place during February of 2021. The Forum educated and connected female candidates currently working in college football roles. Participants interacted with Owners, General Managers, Head Coaches and club executives in the NFL and in college football programs.
Roseman has been vital in the promotion of several prominent female executives, most notably Catherine Raiche. This past off-season, Raiche was promoted to the Vice President of Football Operations for the Eagles.
After just one season in her new role, Raiche was already receiving interviews from opposing teams for their general manager vacancies. With Ian Cunningham and Brandon Brown leaving the team over the last few weeks, Raiche is likely in line for a larger role with the Eagles this season.
Another member of the Eagles quickly rising through the ranks is Ameena Soliman, who was promoted to a Pro Scout last season.
Over the last several seasons, more and more female executives, scouts, and coaches have quickly risen up the ladder and made a huge impact on the NFL, and hopefully this event will continue to inspire more to become involved with the sport.
