NBA Odds & Picks: Claim Your Free $200 and target every team on back-to-backs
If you were smart enough to take five minutes out of your day yesterday to check out my NBA picks, then you already know that we walked away winners.
On top of that, if you signed up for a new BetMGM account and threw $10 down on any NBA money line last night, you walked away with $200 in the bank before any action even took place.
Not too shabby…
Yesterday’s NBA Picks
- Winners: Timberwolves -4.5 First Half Spread and Heat -5.5
- Loser: Suns -6
For the parlays, we had insurance thanks to BetMGM, so even while they didn’t hit completely, only one leg lost in both of them, so if you took either of them, BetMGM should have refunded you up to $25 for our troubles.
And lets be honest, the Suns losing at home to the Raptors was unexpected so it’s time to shake that off and focus on today’s action.
Cleveland Cavaliers @ Chicago Bulls
Cavaliers: +5.5 (+180 ML)
Bulls: -5.5 (-225 ML)
The Cleveland Cavaliers lost last night to the Miami Heat in South Beach and now are back at it again tonight against the Chicago Bulls.
The Bulls are in fifth place in the Eastern Conference standings with a two game advantage on the Cavs, who sit in sixth place.
Unfortunately for the Cavaliers, they are 3-7 over their last 10 games while they are trying to weather the storm without both Caris LeVert and Jarrett Allen. For the Bulls, Nikola Vucevic is listed as probably, and both Zach LaVine and Alex Caruso are questionable.
I will take the Bulls offense over the Cavaliers depleted roster every single day of the week. Then you factor in the rest advantage and the fact that the Cavs are on the road on the second leg of a back-to-back and really, taking Bulls -5.5 seems like a lock before you even punch your ticket.
BetMGM Promotion for Tonight’s NBA Games
Bet $10 on the Money Line for any NBA game
Win $200 if either team hits a Three Pointer
Yes, this is basically free money. Don’t be an idiot.
Minnesota Timberwolves @ Miami Heat
Timberwolves: +5.5 (+195 ML)
Heat: -5.5 (-250 ML)
We’re going to focus on all teams that are on the road and playing on the second night of back-to-backs. Next up would be the Minnesota Timberwolves on the road facing the Miami Heat.
The T-Wolves had their six game winning streak snapped last night against a bad Orlando Magic team and tonight, expect the Heat to knock them back down closer to reality with a win. Last night Miami finally had their regular starting lineup playing and then had Tyler Herro and Victor Oladipo coming off the bench. The Heat have great depth and will handle business against the T-Wolves at home.
Toronto Raptors @ Denver Nuggets
Raptors: +5.5 (+180 ML)
Nuggets: -5.5 (-225 ML)
In a game that surprised everyone last night, the Toronto Raptors beat the Suns 117-112 in Phoenix, led by an explosive 42 points from Gary Trent Jr. Tonight, they are now in Denver to face Jokic and the Nuggets on the second leg of a back-to-back.
The Nuggets are 8-2 over their last 10 games and are looking to shake-off a tough loss on Thursday night against the Golden State Warriors. Denver is battling the injury bug with Aaron Gordon, Will Barton, Zeke Nnaji all questionable heading into tonight while Bones Hyland is probable.
Bench minutes will be essential tonight if some of the starters cannot go but in the end, I still like a rested Nuggets team against the Raptors tonight.
