Last Wednesday, Kelce sat down with 94.1 WIP and announced that he would be singing the national anthem ahead of the 76ers’ game on Monday. Although some might have brushed it off as joking, Kelce was serious and did indeed take center court this evening.

Repping the cardigan from “The Big Lebowski” and a throwback 76ers shirt, Kelce continued his reputation as a Philadelphia legend.

Even though he plays in-front of crowds four times the size of the Wells Fargo Center each week, the Eagles center admitted he was extremely nervous beforehand. However it was all for a good cause, helping to raise $100,000 for charity.

Luckily, Kelce won’t be going anywhere anytime soon, announcing that he will be returning to the Eagles this upcoming season. Just a day later, the Eagles inked him to a one-year, $14 million extension.

After a pair of lousy showings against the Brooklyn Nets and Orlando Magic, hopefully, Kelce provides the spark the 76ers have been looking for.

Meanwhile, another Eagle has been taking center stage as a singer, with Jordan Mailata certainly appearing as a contestant on The Masked Singer.
