Report: Eagles are not interested in signing WR JuJu Smith-Schuster

The wide receiver market is starting to get thin for the Eagles.
Christian Kirk signed a deal with Jacksonville yesterday, making him amongst the highest-paid at the position, while potential target DJ Chark signed a one-year deal with Detroit.
That leaves Allen Robinson, Jarvis Landry and JuJu Smith-Schuster as the top receivers looking for new teams. According to Jimmy Kempski of the Philly Voice, the Eagles have already crossed one of those guys off the list:
“The Eagles reportedly had interest in Smith-Schuster last year, and he makes sense as a big, tough slot in the Eagles’ offense. However, I’m told the Eagles are not interested in him.”

Philadelphia has been linked to Smith-Schuster in the weeks leading up to free agency. Kempski also mentioned that the Eagles made an offer for Kirk before Jacksonville handed him a $72M contract.
More affordable WR options include Atlanta’s Russell Gage and Indy’s Zach Pascal solely because of the Sirianni connection.
GM Howie Roseman could also use a first-rounder on a pass-catcher for the third consecutive season.
