Baseball is back, and NBC Sports Philadelphia has officially announced that they will air nine out of the 19 scheduled Phillies Spring Training games over the next two weeks.

• March 19th vs Blue Jays
• March 22nd vs Tigers
• March 23rd vs Blue Jays
• March 25th vs Yankees
• March 28th vs Orioles 
• March 30th vs Tigers
• March 31st vs Yankees
• April 3rd vs Tigers
• April 5th vs Pirates

The team will kick-off Spring Training games on Friday, taking on the Detroit Tigers. With a shorter spring than normal, the Phillies are set to play 19 games in 20 days down in Clearwater. 

Players are still getting back into the swing of things, so don’t expect all of the stars to play immediately. Zack Wheeler was rumored to potentially miss Opening Day, while he’s still recovering his arm from his dominant 2021 season. Ranger Suarez is currently stuck in Columbia, and Zach Eflin is still recovering from a knee injury. 

The Phillies are still in search of a corner outfielder, an infielder, and more arms on the mound. The team has already signed Brad Hand, Jeurys Familia, and Odubel Herrera. All reports are pointing to the Kris Bryant race being narrowed down to Philadelphia and Colorado.
