Matty Beniers, Mich (SEA)
Bobby Brink, DU (PHI)
Brian Halonen, MTU (UFA)
Luke Hughes, Mich (NJD)
Devon Levi, NU (BUF)
Dryden McKay, MinnSt (UFA)
Ben Meyers, Minn (UFA)
Yaniv Perets, QU (UFA)
Nathan Smith, MinnSt (WPG)
Bobby Trivigno, UMass (UFA)
Bobby Brink currently sits atop the entire NCAA in points with 55, 7 more than second placed Nathan Smith with 48. He’s averaging about 1.53 points per game and as my co-host Chris Stumpo wrote about, he may be joining the Philadelphia Flyers down the stretch.

The fact of the matter is we all remember the 2019 Draft and Chuck Fletcher’s decision to trade back to select Cam York and get the pick that turned into Bobby Brink. The majority of the fanbase wanted Caufield and I’ll include myself in that.
We already have seen the promise in York, but to see Brink now progressing at this rate is fantastic. Most would consider the NCAA to be the toughest North American development league a prospect could be in at this point. Brink is also outscoring 2021 2nd overall pick Matty Beniers by 15 points. With all of these factors considered, I see zero reason as to why he shouldn’t be the favorite for the award.
Denver Hockey takes on Minnesota this weekend in the frozen faceoff as the college season begins to hit the home stretch. We’ll be keeping an eye on Brink the rest of the way.
