Report: Eagles sign former Chargers linebacker to one-year deal

The Eagles are adding a linebacker for Jonathan Gannon’s defense.
According to multiple reports, LB Kyzir White has agreed to a one-year deal with Philadelphia:

White was a 4th-round pick by the Chargers in 2018 and was the team’s leading tackler last season. A converted safety, White racked up 144 tackles in 2021 while only missing eight tackles — a welcome sight for an Eagles’ defense who’s had trouble wrapping players up in recent years.
The 26-year-old is a traditional three-down linebacker who earned top-30 grades in coverage, stopping the run and rushing the quarterback last season while playing in all 17 games.
White is originally from Lehigh County, PA — joining Haason Reddick on what appears to be a free agency homecoming tour.
