Free Agency: Eagles sign top edge rusher to three-year deal

The Eagles are finally adding some much-needed pass rush.
Per NFL Network’s Mike Garafalo, Philadelphia is signing Temple alum Haason Reddick to a lucrative three-year contract:
The #Eagles have agreed to terms with pass rusher Haason Reddick, source says. Three years, $45 million with $30 million fully guaranteed at signing. Max value $49.5 million.

The Camden native and former #Temple Owl is coming home.
Reddick broke out as an edge rusher over the last two seasons, recording 23.5 sacks, 34 QB hits and 8 forced fumbles since 2020. Philadelphia was second to last in sacks last season and desperately needed someone to generate pressure on opposing quarterbacks.
With Ryan Kerrigan and Derrick Barnett likely on the way out, the New Jersey native figures to be an integral part of Jonathan Gannon’s defense moving forward.
