Roster Moves: Phillies reassign two players to minor-league camp

The Phillies have reassigned RHP Cam Bedrosian and 1B Darick Hall to minor-league camp. With just seven days till Opening Day, the team continues to slim their roster down to 28 players.
Darick Hall played 10 games this spring with the Phillies, tallying 18 total at-bats. He slashed .278/.316/.556 with five hits, four runs scored, and 7 RBIs, all adding up to a .872 OPS.
Cam Bedrosian finished his 2022 spring training with a 7.20 ERA in five games. He totaled 5 innings pitched, allowing seven hits, four earned runs, 2 HRs, and a .333 BA. Bedrosian pitched 11 games with the Phillies in 2021, tallying a 4.35 ERA in 10.1 innings pitched.
The Phillies will continue to stay active with cuts and roster moves over the next few days. Their current roster sits around 38-39 players, meaning 10-11 players will still need to be sent elsewhere in the organization.
The final cuts will be interesting. Bryson Stott and Alec Bohm are still fighting for that third base spot, although Stott is far in the lead. Multiple bullpen arms could be fighting for a spot as well, including newly acquired James Norwood, Connor Brogdon, Francisco Morales, and more.
Up Next for the Phillies
The Phils took the win on Thursday, beating the Yankees by a final score of 5-3. The team will travel to Ed Smith Stadium to take on the Baltimore Orioles on Friday at 1:05.
