Stephen A. Smith gets SACKED by Ballsack Sports, references fake tweet on ESPN

Stephen A. Smith got SACKED. The very popular disinformation machine Ballsack Sports has once again duped the national media into believing one of their made-up graphics.
The Twitter parody account tweeted out a “quote” from Kyrie Irving saying that consistently beat up James Harden in practice and called him washed, leading to Harden’s departure.
Stephen A. Smith on ESPN brought the quote up as a legitimate “report” to Magic Johnson
The first time I heard about Ballsack Sports was from Daryl Morey when he was on 97.5 talking about Ben Simmons and other trade rumors.
I’m not really a huge fan of these types of accounts. The world is already confusing enough outside of the sports world and now we have to go online and try to figure out what’s real with literally everything. I couldn’t tell you one news outlet to actually get the truth from.
However, whenever someone on ESPN falls for one of these reports, it’s hilarious.
This isn’t the first time the national media has been caught using a parody report about Harden. A few years back Skip Bayless mentioned a report from Barry McCockiner about how Chris Paul made fun of Harden’s man boobs so much he cried and stormed out of practice.
Regardless, Stephen A. Smith, Skip Bayless, and really anyone on a national media outlet should know better than to just run with a story or rumor that wasn’t vetted. It’s fine when it’s a random Twitter account or a blog running these funny / misleading headlines but the big guns should know better.
GET SACKED, Stephen A. Smith.
