Markelle Fultz reportedly claims the NBA is tampering the MVP vote against Joel Embiid

Markelle Fultz has reportedly chimed in on the MVP vote, stating on 96.9 The Game in Orlando that the NBA is tampering with ballots and preventing Joel Embiid from taking home the award.
I’ll be honest with you, I looked everywhere to find another source on this and wasn’t able to dig anything up so I’m definitely skeptical on whether or not it was actually said or if there’s a chanced we’re getting SACKED by Ms. Shonda Brown.

I feel like if Markelle Fultz, part of the Sixers’ process, drafted number one overall, threw an opinion out on the MVP race and saying that there’s a coordinated tampering effort to keep Embiid from winning the award, we would have heard about it elsewhere but the Tweet itself has gained a good amount of traction with no one else really questioning the validity behind it so maybe I’m missing something.
Regardless, Fultz, or whoever said this is 100% correct. The NBA doesn’t want to validate the process or give Daryl Morey, who according to Ty Lue, lost the NBA billions over his China / Hong Kong protest tweet, any type of accreditation.
Fultz has been a supporter of Philadelphia, the fans, and his teammates since leaving for Orlando a few years ago, which is why he is still beloved by Sixers fans, regardless of what the national media might want you to believe.
Here’s Markelle Fultz back in November talking about 76ers fans
Embiid winning the MVP seems pretty unlikely at this point. Here in Philadelphia, we know the truth. The 76ers start round one of the playoffs tomorrow against the Toronto Raptors and I guarantee that Embiid will be ready to dominated just like he’s done throughout the season. The guy loves to play with a chip on his shoulder and at this point, there’s no bigger chip than The Process.
