8x Your Money: Rhys Hoskins HR and the Phillies Win +700 and more boosts for tonight’s game
The Phillies begin a seven game road trip tonight, with game one of four against the Miami Marlins. Kyle Gibson will take the mound against Sandy Alcantara, as the Fightins look to shake off a .500 home stand that included losing 2-of-3 to the New York Mets.
FOX Bet is the king of Odds Boosts and always have a bunch lined up for each Major League Baseball game on the slate. Here’s what they have for the Phillies-Marlins tonight. There’s two I love, one if you’re feeling lucky, and another one for the degenerates who love chaos.

Swing and a Miss – $20 Bet Pays $70 – Kyle Gibson & Sandy Alcantara 5+ Strikeouts Each +350
Kyle Gibson got the win in the second game of the A’s series, throwing 7 innings, allowing just two hits, and striking out 10 batters. Gibson isn’t known to be a strikeout pitcher but he had everything working for him last outing and 5+ strikeouts tonight now seems like a lock.
Sandy Alcantara got a no decision in his first start of the MLB season, tossing five innings in the Marlins’ 6-5 loss to the Giants on April 8th. Alcantara allowed three hits, two earned runs, and five walks while striking out four.
Alcantara is going to face a Phillies lineup that since Opening Day, features Kyle Schwarber and Bryce Harper going 2-for-34 with 16 strikeouts, so he’ll have plenty of opportunities to hit the five strikeout mark. I don’t hate this boost at all.
Philly, Philly – 8x Your Money – Rhys Hoskins to Hit a Home Run & PHI Phillies to Win + 700
Over 18 at-bats this season, Rhys Hoskins has five hits, one home run, and four RBI. He’s slashing .278/.381/.556 with a .937 OPS. In 24 at-bats against Sandy Alcantara, Hoskins is 5-for-24 with a home run and three RBI.
12x Your Money – Jesus Aguilar & Nick Castellanos 2+ or more Hits Each +1100
Nick Castellanos has a total of seven hits over the Phillies’ first six games and two hits in each of the last two games. He’s only gone hitless once so far this season so I like the value with Castellanos here.
As for Jesus Aguilar, that’s where things get a bit dicey. Aguilar only has one hit so far this season in 16 at-bats. He has been successful against Kyle Gibson, going 2-for-9 with a home run and 3 RBI over 11 plate appearances in his career.
At +1100 odds I certainly don’t hate it.
Power Play – $5 Bet Pays $150 – Kyle Schwarber to Hit 2+ Homeruns +2900
Kyle Schwarber in the leadoff spot for the Phillies, outside of his home run on Opening Day, hasn’t really worked out too well. In six games, he only has two hits and three RBI, batting a miserable .091 with eight strikeouts.
If you want to get crazy, go ahead and take this as boost but I’m steering clear.
