Phillies Preview: Zach Eflin gets the ball for the Phillies in Game 2 vs the Marlins

The Phillies take on the Marlins tonight at 6:40, looking to get back on track after dropping three games in a row.
Zach Eflin will get the ball for the Phillies, making his second start of the season. His first outing came against the Athletics, where he threw four innings and allowed just two hits. He also struck out three and walked two, but was on a pitch count, and made it to just 68 pitches.
Why can’t the Phillies hit a baseball?
The Phillies are going through a massive struggle at the plate right now. JT Realmuto has been the brightest bat in the lineup, hitting .360 this season with nine hits. Kyle Schwarber and Bryce Harper have combined for 18 strikeouts in 52 at-bats, and have recorded just seven total hits.
Johan Camargo has been hitting the ball well, which is why he keeps seeing time in the lineup. Alec Bohm has been out now for a few days, and nobody really knows why. Bohm had a great start to his season, hitting .667/.700/1.000 in six at-bats.
The team is swinging at everything, striking out too much, and playing undisciplined at the plate. This lineup is going to be fine, and nobody should be worried. Besides, April baseball doesn’t matter anyway.

It’s time to start hitting the baseball. The Phillies don’t know how to win in Miami, but I think that changes today.
