Raptors fans can’t help but love “Here Come the Sixers” after Game 2 loss

There wasn’t much for Toronto Raptors fans to love about the team’s Game 2 bludgeoning at the hands of the 76ers. However, with less than a minute to play, the Wells Fargo Center played “Here Come the Sixers,” our traditional victory song, and opposing fans… loved it??
Damn right they did.

Even when the playing of The Song openly disrespected them, Raptors fans couldn’t help but vibe out. That’s a testament to the quality of the tune and shows why “Fly Eagles Fly” isn’t the only great song in the city.
It should make us feel good that “Here Come the Sixers” owns real estate in our opponents’ leads. It’s a competitive advantage both on the court and on the timeline. Truly advanced warfare.
