Crypto.com debuts new commercial featuring Joel Embiid ahead of potential Game 3 return
Fortune Favors the Brave: As the entire city of Philadelphia awaits news on Joel Embiid’s availability for Game 3 tonight in South Philadelphia, Crypto.com dropped a new commercial staring the 76ers’ MVP center.
Crypto advertising aside, the message is clear in the commercial. Fortune favors the brave and ignore doubters to create your own path. Embiid looks fantastic as usual but even as I’m writing this article I could honestly care less about the ad itself, but rather if Embiid will be masked up and taking the court tonight.

You have to wonder if Crypto.com, in partnership with the Philadelphia 76ers would release an advertisement like this ahead of Game 3 if Embiid was not playing, right? I work at RushOrderTees.com, official t-shirt partners of the 76ers so I do have some familiarity with how these partnerships work and do see a few Crypto.com orders being processed to go with this announcement.
Typically when these types of advertisements are released, the Sixers and/or Joel Embiid’s camp would pull the plug if the timing was off (like not playing tonight), so that does give me some hope. Whether or not thats warranted is still up in the air.
I’m definitely not going to go as far as saying that he is playing, even more so after being ruled OUT yesterday, but concussions are tricky. Embiid could have woken up today feeling much better and by the time he goes through tests to see if he is available tonight, he could be ready to take the court.
