Fake tough guy Ben Simmons continues to act like a high school girl, likes tweets about 76ers losing
Ben Simmons, who didn’t play basketball due to his feelings being hurt, mental health, a back injury, and his infatuation with sitting on the Nets bench dressed like a clown, tried to take a victory lap after the 76ers’ Game 6 loss to the Miami Heat.
Before we get into it, James Harden was a major disappointment last night. After starting the game with 11 points in the first half, Harden only took two shots over the final two frames in a pitiful effort with the 76ers’ season on the line. That apparently caught the attention of Ben Simmons, who continues to act like a mix between a high school girl and a faceless NBA Twitter account on the internet.
In typical Ben Simmons fashion, he took to Twitter to start liking tweets, bashing James Harden for how he played. He even liked a tweet from Skip Bayless in which the sports version of Jerry Springer said that Ben Simmons will eventually make this trade look “phoolish” for Philly.

Since that photo was taken last night, he has since unliked the top tweet, but the Skip Bayless one remains. Regardless, it should go without saying that Ben Simmons is a total idiot. I haven’t and continue to be puzzled as to why he has such a vendetta against Philadelphia.
Seems like a weird angle to take, given the fact that when this mess first started, everyone in the city assumed Simmons would be back before he refused to play basketball here ever again.
Instead, he demanded a trade and got sent to Brooklyn, where he never played, then had “back surgery” which turned out to be a basic procedure that people get on the regular, while the Nets organization can’t stand him and trade rumors are already making their rounds that the Atlanta Hawks might look to pursue him this offseason.
And it’s not like he performed well in the postseason either. Each time the playoffs came around Simmons disappeared and was the main reason why the 76ers have struggled in the playoffs over the past few years. The guy was literally non-existent.
Ben Simmons attempted zero field goals for the entire 4th quarter against the Hawks literally last season.
Maybe he should just sit this one out, Ben. You’re not a tough guy. You’re the laughing stock of the NBA.
